After spending a few years traveling abroad, one of my goals for the year has been to see more of my own country – Canada! Recently, a friend’s wedding in Canmore, Alberta provided a perfect opportunity to do just that. I decided to take some extra time with a group of friends to explore part of Western Canada by taking a road trip from Calgary to Vancouver and back, arriving just in time for the wedding. While we packed in a lot of driving during our two week schedule, the region’s overwhelming landscapes made time fly by, and evoked in all of us a sense of awe and Canadian pride. So, I’m late to the party, but my husband and I want to go to Canada for vacation next year. We’re from California, explored a bit of Vancouver and Victoria in the past, but really want SEE Canada. I really appreciate those photos you took; goodness, it is so hard to find someone publishing non-photoshopped landscape scenes nowadays. Seeing your photos made me all the more excited about what we’re going to see!
